Cloud burst in Damrali of Himachal Pradesh

Shimla: Due to cloudburst and heavy rain in Damrali, Himachal Pradesh, many areas have been flooded. The incident is of Taklech sub-tehsil of Rampur sub-division. Due to cloudburst, about 30 meters of road in Taklech got damaged. Mobile tower has also been damaged. Officials said that there has been no loss of life in this incident. Road and mobile tower have been damaged.

Power supply and mobile towers shut down

According to the information, heavy rain fell in Damrali and Taklech on Friday night. Due to which, a cloud burst in Damrali, the upper part of Taklech, and a heavy flood of water came into the adjacent drain. When this flood came, the residents of Taklech clearly heard the rumbling of this drain. People came out of their houses. Electricity supply was also disrupted. The mobile tower in Damrali also stopped working. The mobile signal of 6 panchayats here has been affected.

Broken roads in many places

SDM Nishant Tomar said that the team could not reach the spot because the road has broken at one place. But the local Panchayat Pradhan was talked to over the phone and he denied any information about loss of life and property.

Four more bodies recovered

At the same time, the death toll in the incident of flash floods caused by cloudburst on July 31 in three districts of Himachal Pradesh has increased to 32 with the recovery of four more bodies. Officials gave this information on Friday. Officials said that at least 23 people are still missing in the incident of flash floods in Nirmand, Sainj and Malana of Kullu, Mandi Padhar and Rampur subdivision of Shimla.

Shimla Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi said four bodies have been recovered from the Sunni Dam and the banks of the Sutlej river near Rampur. About 14 people are still missing in the district. He said one body was recovered from the spot on Friday, while three bodies have been recovered in the last six days.
