There is a possibility of rain in Bihar, Uttarakhand for the last few days. There is little possibility of rain in the capital Delhi. Also, light rain can be seen in some areas of Delhi today. Delhi NCR will remain cloudy today and there is a possibility of very little rain. The weather will remain dry and partly cloudy. During this time, the maximum temperature can remain between 35 degrees and the minimum temperature can remain between 24 degrees Celsius.

Bihar-Jharkhand weather

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in many parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh today. Due to heavy rains, the possibility of waterlogging and road accidents may increase. Especially in Bihar and Jharkhand, there is a possibility of heavy rain along with thunderstorms. Due to this, life may be affected.

UP weather

In Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district, 10 people have died in accidents caused by excessive rain during the last 24 hours. So far, 14 people have died in the state due to rain in the last 24 hours. Due to widespread rainfall in the state’s catchment areas and release of water from dams, many rivers including Ganga, Sharda and Ghaghra are flowing above the danger mark. According to the report released on Sunday from the Relief Commissioner’s Office, 10 people died due to ‘excessive rain’ in Meerut district in the last 24 hours. However, the report does not give details about which rain-related accidents caused the deaths.

According to the report, Ganga river is flowing above the danger mark at Kachla Bridge (Badaun), Yamuna at Auraiya, Kalpi, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Sharda river at Paliakalan and Sharda Nagar (Lakhimpur Kheri), Ghaghra river at Elgin Bridge (Barabanki) and Ayodhya. In the last 24 hours, the state received an average rainfall of 2.2 mm. Due to the rising water level of Ganga and Yamuna rivers in Prayagraj, water has entered many low-lying areas and colonies. Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Vinay Kumar Singh said that the help of boats is being taken to evacuate the flood-affected people of Badra Sonaoti village of Phulpur, Bhagesar Delhi village of Karchana and Daraganj. He said that 1130 people from 15 areas are living in shelter homes and about five thousand people of the district are affected by the flood.

Himachal Pradesh Weather

A total of 38 roads were closed and 11 power supply schemes were disrupted following rains in Himachal Pradesh, the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) said on Sunday evening. The local meteorological centre has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for strong winds and thundershowers at isolated places in six districts of the state on Wednesday. The weather department has predicted that the spell of rain will continue in the state till September 21. Meanwhile, intermittent rains continued in many parts of the state, with Kasauli recording the highest rainfall of 53 millimetres (mm) since Saturday evening.
