Big allegation regarding Tirupati temple prasad
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has sparked a fresh controversy by making a shocking claim. He on Wednesday accused the previous YSR Congress government of using substandard material and animal fat to make laddus at the famous Tirupati temple during its tenure. Chandrababu Naidu said he was shocked to know that the Jagan administration used animal fat instead of ghee in the Tirupati prasad. They should be ashamed of not being able to respect the religious sentiments of crores of devotees.
Tirupati Laddu is offered at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati. The temple is run by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). Chandrababu Naidu made this claim while addressing the NDA Legislature Party meeting. Chief Minister Naidu said that now pure ghee is being used, which has improved the quality.
“His comments were extremely malicious”
At the same time, YSR Congress has reacted sharply to these allegations of Chandrababu Naidu. Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP YV Subba Reddy accused Naidu of harming the sanctity of Tirupati temple. Reddy wrote on social media ‘X’, “Chandrababu Naidu has seriously damaged the sanctity of Tirumala and the faith of crores of Hindus. His comments about Tirumala Prasad are extremely malicious. No person would speak such words or make such allegations.”
“Ready to take oath before God”
He further said, “It has been proved again that Chandrababu Naidu can stoop to any level for political gains. I am ready to take an oath before God regarding Tirumala ‘prasad’ along with my family to strengthen the faith of devotees. Is Chandrababu Naidu ready to do the same with his family?”
