CM Nitish gifted Mithapur flyover to the people of Patna, got freedom from jam

Patna. Many new roads and bridges are being constructed to get rid of the jam in Patna, the capital of Bihar. In this sequence, on Friday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the Mithapur Flyover, which has been under construction for years. The construction of a part of the bridge built at a cost of about Rs 23 crore – the part leading from Karbighia to Mithapur Mandi has been completed. In order to rid Mithapur from the jam, the Government of Bihar had decided to build a flyover years ago. The construction of the bridge was stuck for the last several years due to the problem of land acquisition and construction work without stopping the train on the railway track, but after removing all the obstacles, now the construction of the flyover has been completed.

On Friday, a part of this bridge was opened to the general public. Whereas, the construction work of the second part going from Karbighiya towards Patna Gaya railway line is going on at a brisk pace. Local people are very happy with the construction of Mithapur flyover. Now going from Patna Bypass, Bailey Road, Kankarbagh area to Mithapur will be very easy. At the same time, if one wants to go from Kankarbagh to Anisabad, Phulwari Sharif, Patna AIIMS, then one can also use this flyover. With this they will not have to face the traffic of the city.

Mithapur flyover built over Patna Gaya line railway track will prove to be a boon for the people of Mithapur and its surroundings. Because the jam in Mithapur Mandi has now been got rid of. Soon the construction of the second part of the bridge will also be completed which leads to Patna Gaya railway line. There is also a plan to connect this part of the bridge with the elevated road to be built from Patna to Mahuli Halt. Actually, it was stuck for the last several years due to non-acquisition of land, but after the decision of the court, now the problem of land acquisition has ended, after which the construction work is being done rapidly.
