Here the cases and samosas brought for the CM were distributed among his staff. CID investigated it. Investigation revealed that only the SI knew that these boxes were especially for CM Sukhu.
mistake due to lack of coordination
Investigation revealed that when these coaches were handed over to the lady inspector, she did not confirm with any senior officer and sent them to the Mechanical Transport (MT) section responsible for breakfast. Due to this mistake, these boxes got misplaced before they could reach their rightful person. The report said that lack of coordination was a significant reason for this mistake.
10/12 persons served with tea
The investigation report states that the items kept in the above three boxes were served along with tea to 10/12 persons sitting in the IG’s office. The so-called three boxes which were brought from the hotel, the food items contained in them were for the Chief Minister, only the SI was aware of this. Despite this, the above mentioned three boxes were handed over to MT Section by the Inspector without asking any higher officer. The boxes were opened and the items contained in them were distributed.
