BJP leader RP Singh has raised questions on the statement of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. BJP leader RP Singh challenged Rahul Gandhi to repeat his comment about Sikhs in India. He said that he will drag Rahul Gandhi to court. RP Singh said that 3000 Sikhs were killed during the 1984 Delhi riots under the rule of the Congress Party.

Sikhs’ turbans were removed in Delhi

RP Singh said, ‘3000 Sikhs were massacred in Delhi; their turbans were removed. Their hair was cut and beards were shaved off. Rahul Gandhi does not say that all this happened when they (Congress) were in power. I challenge Rahul Gandhi to repeat in India what he is saying about Sikhs and then I will file a case against him. I will drag him to court.’

Rahul Gandhi is on US tour

Rahul Gandhi is currently on a visit to America. In America, Rahul Gandhi had said that the political battle he is fighting is regarding whether Sikhs will be allowed to wear turbans in India or not.

Rahul Gandhi gave this statement

Recently, Rahul Gandhi said in Virginia, ‘First of all, you have to understand what the fight is about. The fight is not about politics. It is superficial. What is your name? The fight is about whether… as a Sikh, he will be allowed to wear a turban in India. Or as a Sikh, he will be allowed to wear a Kada in India. Or whether a Sikh will be able to go to the Gurudwara. The fight is about this and not just for him, but for all religions.’

Shivraj Singh also targeted

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan targeted Rahul Gandhi’s comment. He said that as the leader of the opposition, Atal Bihari Vajpayee never attacked the government abroad.
