Former Delhi MP and Congress Dalit leader Udit Raj has once again given rise to controversy by talking about ‘Bulldozer on Ram temple’. He made this comment regarding the incident of gang rape of a girl in Ayodhya. He claimed that the girl is a cleaning worker in Ram temple. However, Ayodhya police says that the incident is being presented in a wrong way. Many people expressed objection to Udit Raj’s post.

Former MP Udit Raj wrote on Instagram, ‘A young woman working as a sweeper in the Ram temple in Ayodhya was gang-raped. Will a bulldozer be used on the Ram temple as well?’ Social media users got angry at this statement of the Congress leader and demanded action from the Ayodhya police. One user tagged the Ayodhya police and said, ‘This person is trying to incite emotions and spoil the atmosphere by spreading fake news. Please take cognizance and take appropriate action.’

Many social media users showed the statement of Ayodhya police to Udit Raj, who lost the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the North-West constituency on a Congress ticket, and said that he is spreading fake news. Many people also said that this incident took place about 20 kilometers away from the Ram temple and was carried out by some acquaintances. Why is Ram temple being linked to this?
