Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda on Thursday called Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi a ‘failed product’ of politics and said that it is Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s compulsion to glorify him. Nadda said this in response to the letter written by Kharge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently, in which the Congress President had demanded that he take action against the leaders who made objectionable and controversial statements against Rahul Gandhi. Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu had called Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi the ‘biggest enemy and terrorist of the country’. Apart from this, some leaders of the National Democratic Alliance have also made objectionable comments against Rahul Gandhi.
JP Nadda called Rahul Gandhi a failed product
Nadda said in his reply letter, “I understand that it is your compulsion to constantly defend and glorify your ‘failed product’.” He said that at least being the Congress President, Kharge should also think about what kind of unfortunate and shameful statements even the top leaders of his party have made against the Prime Minister in the past. He accused Kharge, “Due to political compulsion, you have written a letter to the Prime Minister of the country in an attempt to re-polish your ‘failed product’, which has been repeatedly rejected by the public, and enter the market.” He said that after reading the letter, he felt that the things said by Kharge are far from reality and truth and it seems that in the letter he has either forgotten the misdeeds of his leaders including Rahul Gandhi or is deliberately ignoring it.

Nadda said, “Why are you trying to justify Rahul Gandhi, a person whose history is of abusing the entire OBC community including the Prime Minister of the country by calling them thieves, using extremely indecent words for the Prime Minister of the country, who has talked about beating the Prime Minister of the country with a stick in the Parliament, whose impudent mentality is known to the whole country?” The BJP President reminded that Sonia Gandhi had used extremely reprehensible words like ‘maut ka saudagar’ for the Prime Minister. He said that the leaders of Congress and Company have abused Prime Minister Modi more than 110 times in the last 10 years. He said that the party leaders kept glorifying all these malicious, unfortunate and shameful statements. Nadda asked, “Why did the Congress forget about political purity when Rahul Gandhi openly said that he would ruin Modi’s image? Who had torn apart the political decorum then?”
