Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will pass through 15 states, know details

New Delhi : Congress party has changed the name of its yatra. The name of this journey will now be ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’. This journey will now pass through 15 states instead of 14 states. This journey will start from Imphal, the capital of Manipur, on January 14 at 12.30 pm. Congress’ Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will now cover a distance of 6700 km instead of 6200 km. This information was given by Congress leader Jairam Ramesh in a press conference.

He told that this will be a hybrid journey in which people will walk on foot and bus will also be used. He said that we invite all the parties of India Alliance as well as civil society and small parties of the states for this yatra.

He told that this journey in Manipur will cover a distance of 107 km. Here this yatra will cover 2 Lok Sabha and 11 Assembly constituencies of 4 districts. Jairam Ramesh said, ‘After Manipur, they will come to Nagaland, then Assam, then Arunachal Pradesh and then back to Assam and from there to Meghalaya, then Bengal, then Bihar, then Jharkhand, Odisha, then UP, Gujarat and Maharashtra.’

Details of Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra

  1. Under this journey in Nagaland, a distance of 257 km will be covered in two days. Total districts will be covered.
  2. The 8-day trip will cover 17 districts in Assam. Total distance to be covered is 833.
  3. This journey in West Bengal will cover a distance of 523 kilometers in 5 days. A total of 7 districts will be covered.
  4. This journey in Jharkhand will cover a distance of 804 kilometers in 8 days. A total of 13 districts will be covered.
  5. In Odisha, this yatra will cover four districts in 4 days and cover a total distance of 341 kilometers.
  6. This journey in Bihar will cover a distance of 425 kilometers in 4 days. This journey will go to a total of 7 districts.
  7. In Uttar Pradesh, this journey will cover 10 districts in 11 days and will cover a maximum distance of 1074 km.
  8. This journey in Chhattisgarh will cover a distance of 436 km in 5 days and cover 7 districts.
  9. The five trains will cover 7 districts in Gujarat and cover a total distance of 445 km.
  10. This journey in Rajasthan will cover two districts in a day and cover a total distance of 128 km.
  11. The journey in Maharashtra will cover a distance of 480 km, covering 7 districts in 5 days.

Jairam Ramesh said that Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’ will cover a total of 110 districts of the country. This yatra will pass through 100 Lok Sabha and 337 assembly constituencies.
