During this period of audit, the Congress party contested elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh in 2022 and in Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya in early 2023. The party had won in these elections in Himachal Pradesh. Congress received donations of Rs 452.30 crore for the financial year 2022-23.

Accident happened yesterday during Rahul’s journey
During the Congress Nyay Yatra, an ambulance included in Rahul Gandhi’s convoy allegedly hit the car of a senior district police officer, after which the driver of the ambulance and another person were taken into custody in Birbhum. In this regard, an officer said that both were taken to Murarai police station and interrogated. The officer said that the district police officer traveling in the car was not injured. After the incident, Gandhi’s convoy moved ahead leaving the ambulance.
