The Congress party has spent a total of Rs 71.80 crore on its ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir in 2022-23. Let us tell you that Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ lasted for 145 days and it ended on January 30 in Srinagar. On an average, Rs 49 lakh was spent every day on this Congress trip. Let us inform that according to the latest annual audit report filed by the Congress Party with the Election Commission for the financial year 2022-23, it spent Rs 40,10,15,572 on pre-election surveys in 2022-23.

Congress’ election expenditure Rs 192.5 crore

According to this report filed with the Election Commission, the election expenditure of the Congress Party in the financial year 2022-23 was more than Rs 192.5 crore. During this period of audit, the Congress party contested elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh in 2022 and in Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya in early 2023. The party had won in these elections in Himachal Pradesh. Congress received donations of Rs 452.30 crore for the financial year 2022-23.

Congress’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra continues

Let us tell you that Congress has started ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’ from Manipur on 14th January. This yatra of Congress will cover a distance of 6,713 kilometers in 67 days. During this period, Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will pass through 110 districts of 15 states and end in Mumbai on March 20. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ resumed in Murshidabad district yesterday, a few hours behind schedule due to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Class 10 examination.

Accident happened yesterday during Rahul’s journey

During the Congress Nyay Yatra, an ambulance included in Rahul Gandhi’s convoy allegedly hit the car of a senior district police officer, after which the driver of the ambulance and another person were taken into custody in Birbhum. In this regard, an officer said that both were taken to Murarai police station and interrogated. The officer said that the district police officer traveling in the car was not injured. After the incident, Gandhi’s convoy moved ahead leaving the ambulance.
