New Delhi: War of words is common in politics. Leaders often become sharp while attacking their opponents. Many times he makes such statements which he probably regrets later. Many times they even have to ask for forgiveness. This war of words becomes more interesting when the other person also comes into the same mode. Something similar happened during a press conference on Friday.

‘Udayanidhi should control his tongue’

Actually, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was in a press conference. Here he was questioned about a statement by Tamil Nadu government minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. To this he replied that Udhayanidhi should control his tongue. Before speaking they should think about what and for whom they are speaking. He is in politics and it is his responsibility to speak thoughtfully.

What did Udhayanidhi Stalin say?

Let us tell you that earlier this month, Udhayanidhi had said about the Center allegedly not giving funds to Tamil Nadu, “We are not asking for anyone’s father’s money. We are only asking for the tax paid by the people of Tamil Nadu. Asking for a share.” On this the Union Finance Minister said that he is asking about his father’s money. Is he enjoying politics with his father’s money?

‘We should respect each other’

Nirmala Sitharaman said that I can also ask like this, but doing so would be completely wrong. He has been elected by the people, he is a minister in the government. In politics it is not right to say anything about anyone’s father and mother. We should respect each other. While advising Udayanidhi, Sitharaman said that he is still young and if he wants to go ahead in politics, he should control his tongue and think about what he is saying.

Rs 900 crores have been given to the state

Along with this, Nirmala Sitharaman said that Rs 900 crore has been given to the state during the outbreak of rains and floods. If necessary, this amount can be increased further. But I would like to say that this is not my or his father’s money. It is public money and is being spent for the public.
