Congress party has secured majority in Telangana assembly elections and ousted KCR’s party BRS from power. After this victory, the name of Telangana Congress President Revanth Reddy is in discussion all over the country. As a gift of victory, Congress has also announced to make Revanth Reddy the CM of Telangana. However, before taking oath as CM, a video of Revanth Reddy is going viral on social media in which he was seen raising questions on the DNA of Bihar. People are calling this video an insult to Bihar and are opposing Revanth Reddy.

What is viral video?

In fact, a clip of India Today’s video is going viral on social media in which future Telangana CM Revanth Reddy said that KCR’s DNA is from Bihar and his DNA is from Telangana. He said that KCR originally belongs to the Kurmi community of Bihar. His family had migrated to Telangana a long time ago. Revanth Reddy did not stop here, he further said that due to the reason mentioned, Revanth’s DNA is better than KCR.

BJP angry at Revanth

Bharatiya Janata Party has expressed strong objection to the statement of future Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and called it an insult to North Indians. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya shared Revanth’s video and wrote – “Meet Congress’s newly elected Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who thinks KCR has bad DNA, probably because he is a Kurmi from Bihar who moved to Telangana. Nitish Kumar is also a Kurmi and is part of the INDI alliance. He should ask Congress to clarify whether he thinks his DNA is inferior?

Politics started with ABVP

Revanth Reddy is one of the three Congress MPs in Telangana who won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The surprising thing is that Revanth Reddy started his politics from ABVP. After this he also remained in Telugu Desam Party and later joined Congress and became the hero of the party’s victory.

When will you take oath?

Revanth Reddy was the president of Congress in Telangana and remained the first choice of the high command after winning the elections. When Congress won in Telangana, discussions started that Reddy could be given the responsibility of the post of CM. Revanth Reddy will become the CM of Telangana and he is going to take oath on 7th December.
