The MLA had released a video on Monday criticizing stand-up comedian Munawwar Farooqui and a particular religion. In the video, Singh is purportedly seen making some remarks against the religion. He was arrested by the police in the case after the video was circulated on social media platforms. However, a local court later granted him bail.
