Corona is scaring again! 614 new cases reported in 24 hours, 2311 active patients

New Delhi: Corona cases are once again increasing rapidly in the country. According to health experts, the reason for the surge in fresh cases is the JN One sub variant. Due to all these variants the infection spreads rapidly. The highest number of 614 cases of corona virus infection were registered in the country after May 21, due to which the number of active patients increased to 2,311.

According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry today, the death toll in Kerala has increased to 5,33,321 with the death of three patients in the last 24 hours while the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country has crossed 4.50 crore (4, 50,05,978). According to the data, the number of people recovering from the disease has increased to 4,44,70,346 and the national recovery rate is 98.81 percent. The rate of loss of life due to infection is 1.19 percent. According to the ministry’s website, currently 220.67 crore doses have been given in the country under the anti-Covid-19 vaccination campaign.

Amidst the increase in Corona virus cases in the country, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday took stock of the preparedness of health establishments and also appealed to the states to be vigilant and increase surveillance. The Health Minister assured the states of all kinds of support from the Center and said, “We need to be alert, not panic.” The Minister said that conducting ‘mock drills’ for hospital preparedness, It is necessary to increase surveillance and talk to people.

He stressed the need to conduct ‘mock drills’ in all hospitals every three months. Also appealed to the states to ensure that precautionary measures are taken during the winter season before the festivals. Mandaviya said, “There should be no laxity in our preparations.” Health is not an area of ​​politics. The Central Health Ministry is ready to provide all kinds of help.
