Corona is scaring again! Karnataka government issued alert, mask mandatory for these people

Corona is scaring again.

The increasing cases of Corona in Kerala have once again created an atmosphere of fear among the people. Let us tell you that 111 new cases of Corona were reported in the state on Sunday and a total of 4 people died. Now in view of this new threat of Corona, Kerala’s neighboring state Karnataka has also issued an alert for the people. The Karnataka government has now issued important guidelines regarding masks in the state. The government has appealed that people who have cold, fever and cough should get tested for corona.

Mask is mandatory for these people

Masks have been made mandatory by the Government of Karnataka for those above 60 years of age. However, at present there is no restriction on public movement in public places. State Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has said that as a precautionary measure, the government has made masks mandatory for people above 60 years of age, the department will soon issue guidelines regarding Covid.

No worries about mutation

The Health Minister of Karnataka has said that no one should be worried about Corona mutation. As per the suggestion given in the meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee headed by Dr. Ravi, it has been decided that masks should be made mandatory for people above 60 years of age and those with cardiovascular diseases and respiratory problems.

Hospital also on alert mode

The State Health Minister has said that Health Department officials have been instructed to do maximum testing, all hospitals in the state have been instructed to be on alert. All District Health Officers have been informed to keep necessary beds, PPE kits, testing kits ready, extra precautions have been advised in the border districts of Kerala. It will be necessary to take strict measures in public places only if more positive cases are found, Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said that at present there is no such situation and no one needs to worry.
