Responding to the terrorists, he said that their audacity will never break the trust of the people. He expressed condolences to those who lost their lives in this attack and expressed hope for the speedy recovery of the injured. Seven people died in the terrorist attack in Ganderbal. These include one doctor and six labourers.

Nitin Gadkari also condemned
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari also condemned the attack. Gadkari said the terrorists opened fire on the camps of workers of a private company carrying out the construction work of a tunnel in Gund area of ​​Ganderbal district. Officials said that two workers died on the spot, while four other workers and a doctor died during treatment. In a post on social media platform ‘X’, Gadkari said the “innocent labourers” were engaged in a vital infrastructure project at Gagangir in Sonamarg.
Gadkari said, “I strongly condemn the horrific terrorist attack on innocent laborers at Gagangir in Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir, who were engaged in a vital infrastructure project.” He said, “I pay my humble tributes to the martyred laborers and express my deepest condolences to their families in this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are for the speedy and complete recovery of the injured.”
