Court rejects petition demanding toilets for players in Mumbai stadium – Hindustan News Hub

The Supreme Court rejected a petition filed for cricketers

A lawyer came to the Supreme Court with a petition that will surprise you. After hearing the lawyer’s petition, the court not only reprimanded him but also rejected his petition. Actually, a person who is a lawyer by profession came to the Supreme Court with a petition in which it was demanded that there should be toilets for cricketers in different stadiums of Mumbai. The court reprimanded the lawyer

The court immediately rejected the petition filed demanding toilets for players in various stadiums of Mumbai and also reprimanded the lawyer. The court said, ‘What kind of PIL is this? If the cricketers are facing any problem, they will come to us themselves.’

Justice Abhay S. Oka asked the petitioner whether he is a lawyer or a cricketer? He further said, ‘If you are a lawyer then a cricketer is fully capable of doing this and if you are a cricketer then this petition is not a PIL at all.’ The High Court has done the right thing by dismissing your petition. We uphold the decision of the High Court.

SC gave this order in another case

On Thursday, SC directed Sahara Group to deposit Rs 1,000 crore in a separate Escrow Account (third party account) within 15 days. Along with this, the court also allowed Sahara Group to establish a joint venture for the development of its land in Versova, Mumbai, which can raise Rs 10,000 crore. Let us tell you that in compliance with the 2012 order of the Supreme Court, an amount of Rs 10,000 crore is to be deposited in the SEBI-Sahara refund account to return the money of the investors.
