New Delhi. The number of doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine administered so far in India has crossed the 206 crore mark, including 24 lakh doses administered till 7 pm on Saturday. This information was given by the Union Health Ministry. According to the Health Ministry data, 17,51,960 precautionary doses were given to people in the age group of 18-59 till 7 pm on Saturday. The number of precautionary doses administered in this age group has crossed 5,22,88,707 so far.
So far 3.44 crore precautionary doses have been given to those aged 60 years and above. So far, more than 3.94 crore children in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been given the first dose, while the first dose has been given to more than 6.13 crore adolescents between the ages of 15 and 18 years. A 75-day special drive is being conducted to provide free preventive doses to all those aged 18 years and above at government immunization centres.
