Danta Assembly Election Result 2022 Live Updates: The counting of votes for the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022 is going to start shortly. Elections were held in Gujarat’s 182 seats in two phases on December 1 and December 5. Polling was held in the second phase in Banaskantha district. Voting on Danta seat of the district was held on 5th December. This time BJP has fielded Latubhai Parghi, Congress has fielded its 2017 candidate Kantibhai Kharadi and Aam Aadmi Party has fielded MK Bambadia. . This is a Scheduled Tribe (ST) reserved seat. Congress has not lost any election since 1998
In 2017, the Congress candidate had won this seat falling in the Banaskantha parliamentary constituency. INC candidate Kantibhai Kharadi defeated BJP’s Maljibhai Kodarvi by 24,652 votes. Then the Congress got 52.41 percent votes, while the BJP got only 37.74 percent votes. Danta assembly constituency is considered a stronghold of the Congress. Congress has not lost any election from here since 1998. The BJP has been able to win from here only in 1990 and 1995.
