Delhi Excise Policy Scam: Court sends Abhishek Boinpally to 14-day judicial custody

In fact, in the Delhi Excise Policy scam case, accused Abhishek Boinpally has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the court. According to the information received, the Rouse Avenue Court has sent Abhishek Boinpally to judicial custody till October 29.

At the same time, Abhishek Boinpally was produced in the court after the end of the CBI remand period. In the last hearing, the CBI had told the court that the accused needs to be produced along with two other accused and several documents. Actually, Abhishek Boinpally, who lives in Hyderabad, was arrested for lobbying during the formulation of the excise policy.

Let us tell you, a major action was taken by the Enforcement Directorate on Friday again in the case of alleged scam in the determination and implementation of the new Excise Policy of the Delhi Government. The Central Investigation Agency ED had conducted a search operation at more than 25 locations in Delhi. The ED had raided the residences of many big liquor traders of the city and other places.

At the same time, on September 16, the ED had raided 40 locations across the country including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nellore and Chennai. During this, the Central Investigation Agency had raided 25 locations in Hyderabad alone. After this, on 7 October also, 35 locations in Delhi, Punjab and Hyderabad were raided by the Enforcement Directorate.
