New Delhi. Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is being constructed to directly connect Delhi to Mumbai. The construction work of this 1390 kilometer long expressway is likely to be completed by March next year. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on February 12. After its launch, the journey between Delhi and Jaipur can be covered in just two hours.

According to news agency ANI, PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on February 12. Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated the Bundelkhand Expressway in the month of July last year.

The work of this expressway was completed in 28 months. This expressway extends from National Highway-35 (NH-35) at Gonda village near Bharatkup in Chitrakoot district to Kudrail village in Etawah district, where it merges with the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. This expressway passes through 7 districts ie Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Auraiya and Etawah.

Meanwhile, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on February 4. This will reduce the travel time between Jaipur and Delhi by about two hours.
