Delhi Police Special Cell raids in Punjab, cocaine worth Rs 10 crore recovered – Hindustan News Hub

New Delhi: After the links of the drug recovery case worth Rs 5 thousand crore in Delhi were linked to Punjab, the Special Cell of Delhi Police conducted raids in Punjab. In the raid, police recovered cocaine worth Rs 10 crore and also seized a Fortuner car. According to the information, this raid was conducted in Nepal village of Amritsar. Special Cell has recovered cocaine worth Rs 10 crore from Jitendra alias Jassi Nishan Dehi, arrested from Amritsar Airport.

Drugs worth Rs 5600 crore seized in the national capital Delhi are also connected to Dubai. The name of Indian citizen Virendra Basoya present in Dubai has emerged as the mastermind of this international syndicate. Delhi Police has also issued a lookout circular against Virendra Basoya, his son and some others. The son has been accused of providing logistics support to the syndicate people.

Let us tell you that Basoya has already been arrested in India in the drugs case. However, after getting bail, he shifted to Dubai and became a big mafia of the International Drugs Cartel. Special Cell investigation revealed that the mastermind of the drugs syndicate and the main accused Tushar Goyal and Virendra Basoya are old friends.

Let us tell you that Delhi Police had seized the largest consignment of drugs in the city so far and arrested four accused. More than 560 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hydroponic marijuana were seized from the accused. The estimated value of this drug consignment was said to be around Rs 5,620 crore. The arrested persons have been identified as Delhi residents Tushar Goyal, Himanshu Kumar, Aurangzeb Siddiqui and Mumbai resident Bharat Kumar Jain.
