Light rain in Delhi NCR region on Monday has made the weather pleasant. After the rain, the sky of the capital region also appeared clearer than other days. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI of the capital region has improved slightly after light rain last evening. The air quality in Delhi has moved from ‘severe’ to ‘very poor’ category. On Tuesday morning, most areas of NCR recorded AQI below 400, while some saw air quality above 400.

What is the condition of AQI?

The AQI level in various areas of Delhi NCR is still in the very poor category. On Tuesday, 374 AQI was recorded in Anand Vihar, 403 in Ashok Vihar, 355 in IGI T3, 436 in ITO, 396 in Jahangirpuri, 405 in Punjabi Bagh, 396 in Rohini, 301 in Shadipur. At the same time, 308 AQI has been recorded in Sector 125 of Noida, 342 in Sector 62, 305 in Sector 1.

Chance of rain even today

It has been raining lightly in Delhi-NCR region since Monday. Due to rain, the cold has increased in Delhi and surrounding areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi and surrounding areas on Tuesday also. Today it will be partly cloudy in Delhi.
