New Delhi: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) data, Delhi recorded the warmest November this year as compared to the last six years with an average maximum temperature of 28.8 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists say that the reason for the above average maximum temperature this month is the absence of a strong western disturbance. According to IMD data, Delhi recorded an average maximum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius in the month of November in 2021 while it was 27.9 degrees, 28.1 degrees, 28.5 degrees and 27.9 degrees in the year 2020, year 2019, year 2018 and year 2017 respectively. it was done.

Mahesh Palawat, vice-president (meteorology and climate change) of Skymet Weather, said that in the first fortnight of the month, three moderate Western Disturbances were seen in Northeast India, but they did not cause heavy snowfall in the hilly areas of the North. He told that only two ‘weak’ western disturbances were seen in the second fortnight of the month. Palawat said, “Powerful western disturbances cause heavy snowfall in the hilly areas and due to this, even in the northern plains, it rains.
