Delhi Weather: Rain will continue in Delhi, IMD has issued yellow alert; condition till 13 September

Delhi Weather: Monsoon is blessing Delhi this time. So far, 42 percent more rain has fallen. Light rain forecast on Tuesday

The IMD has forecast generally cloudy sky and light rain in Delhi on Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum and minimum temperatures on Tuesday are likely to be around 34 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of the national capital was recorded at 117 at 4 pm, which falls in the ‘moderate’ category.

Yellow alert for Wednesday and Thursday

The capital Delhi will continue to have rainy and cloudy weather. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for Wednesday and Thursday. On Monday also, light to moderate rain occurred in many parts of Delhi. Most parts of Delhi remained cloudy since morning. The damp haze created due to rain remained over Delhi’s sky on Monday as well. The maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 34.6 degrees Celsius at Delhi’s standard observatory Safdarjung. Which is one degree more than normal. While the minimum temperature was 25.1 degrees Celsius. This is one degree less than normal. It is worth noting that yellow alert means that you must keep an eye on the weather activities while going out of the house.

Monsoon usually lasts till 23 September

The figure of monsoon rain in Delhi has reached more than 911 mm. Usually the monsoon returns here around 23 September. Therefore, it can be assumed that there will be monsoon rain for two more weeks. In this regard, weather experts say that this time the figure of monsoon rain can be more than one thousand millimeters.
