Delhi Weather: Weather will change in Delhi-NCR, today rain and strong winds will give relief; condition of next four days

Delhi Weather: The weather in Delhi-NCR changed again on Tuesday. After bright sunshine till afternoon, clouds covered the sky. The weather department has predicted a change in the weather from Wednesday. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at many places in Delhi-NCR between 25 and 28 September. Light rain may occur in some areas on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was 37.4 degrees and the minimum temperature was 26.4 degrees Celsius, which is 3 degrees more than normal.

Monsoon is not gone yet

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has not yet left the capital. Therefore, there is a possibility of light and moderate rain in the next four days. At the same time, Sky Met meteorologist Mahesh Palawat says that the eastern wind has strengthened. A low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal, its effect will also be seen in the capital.

Smog due to increased pollution

The Meteorological Department said that the visibility level at Safdarjung was 300 meters at 5.30 pm on Tuesday. Pollution may be the reason for the increase in haze. The AQI in the capital was recorded at 201. The situation of haze also arises due to increase in pollution level and low wind speed. The pollution level was recorded bad at 6 pm in eight areas of the capital.

Air quality turns ‘poor’ in the last days of monsoon

The air quality in the national capital was recorded in the ‘poor’ category on Tuesday in the last days of monsoon. Officials gave this information. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was 204 at 9 pm, which falls in the ‘poor’ category.

The Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi has forecast the air quality to remain in the ‘moderate’ category for Wednesday and light rain is also expected. It said that the predominant surface wind is likely to blow from the east/southeast direction at a speed of eight to 12 kmph. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Wednesday is likely to be around 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 26 degrees Celsius.
