New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the ‘PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022’ at the Mela Ground in New Delhi. He addressed the event and said that there has been a big change in the production technology and quality of fertilizers. This will boost the production of agricultural products and solve all crop related problems. India will soon emerge as a hub for efficient production of agricultural products globally.

Before Diwali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the gift of Diwali to farmers across the country. The Prime Minister has transferred 2000 rupees in the accounts of crores of beneficiary farmers of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. With this, the wait of farmers for the 12th installment under PM Kisan Nidhi is over.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the program of ‘PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022’ at the Mela Ground in New Delhi. During the program, Prime Minister Modi digitally transferred the 12th installment money to the account of the beneficiary farmers.
Significantly, the Modi government gives Rs 6000 every year to the economically weak farmers. This amount is released in three instalments. So far 11 installments have been released under PM Kisan Yojana and 12th installment has been released today.
In fact, under the PM Kisan Yojana, the central government transferred an amount of Rs 6,000 to the accounts of eligible farmers at an interval of every four months. This amount is deposited directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in December 2018. It is a central scheme under the Narendra Modi government, aimed at providing financial assistance to farmer families. Fully government backed scheme, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is applicable for all those farmer families who have limited land.
This time the Central Government has made it mandatory for eligible farmers to do EKYC to get the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. As per PM KISAN website, eKYC is mandatory for PM-KISAN registered farmers.
E-KYC is mandatory
E-KYC has been made mandatory to take advantage of PM Kisan Yojana. Without e-KYC, money will not be credited in the account.
