‘Do everything, but don’t get married’; Ghaziabad youth, upset with his wife, hanged himself after saying Jai Shri Ram

A 35-year-old man in Ghaziabad’s Loni, adjacent to Delhi, allegedly committed suicide after being fed up with the harassment of his wife and in-laws. Before dying, he uploaded a video on social media and said, ‘Do everything, but don’t get married’. In the video, the young man has made serious allegations against his wife and in-laws.

According to the information, a young man from Loni to DLF Ankur Vihar Colony committed suicide on Monday due to domestic strife. Before this, the young man made a video and uploaded it on social media. The police have sent the body for postmortem and are investigating the case.

In the video, the young man has accused his wife and her parents of harassing him and has said that he will not even show his face to them after his death. Along with this, he has also said in the video that he will not give his property to his wife. However, Hindustan does not confirm this viral video.

Jagdish Rana, 35, originally from Pachgai in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, was living with his wife and children in Ankur Vihar Colony. He used to have arguments with his wife and in-laws. A few days ago, his wife went to her parents’ house with the children. Tired of the daily quarrels, Jagdish committed suicide on Monday afternoon by hanging himself with a rope from a fan in his house in Ankur Vihar Colony. He also made a video before committing suicide. ACP Bhaskar Verma says that the family members of the deceased have been informed about the incident and the body has been sent for postmortem.

Attacked his wife with a knife and fled

In another incident, a man living in his in-laws’ house in Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram attacked his wife with a knife and fled. The victim was admitted to the hospital in a bloodied condition by her family. Currently, her condition is out of danger. Govind Bansal, who lives in slums, said that his daughter Urmila’s in-laws harass her. That’s why she came to her maternal home. Seven days ago, her husband Rakesh also came. On August 31, Rakesh started quarreling with his daughter about going home. During this, he stabbed Urmila four times on her shoulder and back with a knife and fled. ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh says that a case has been registered. The accused will be arrested and action will be taken.
