Ghaziabad, After two years of Karona period, once again the festivals are being seen as bright as before. Special preparations have been made in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh for Navratri and Durga Puja. This time different types of Durga pandals have been decorated in the societies here. In these, messages are being conveyed to the people along with the blessings of the mother through different themes. Preparations have been completed to install a grand statue of Maa Durga at the Gateway of India in Rachna Park, Vaishali Sector-3. The structure of Gateway of India has been prepared by Bengali artisans with the help of bamboo by Sri Sri Kali Puja Durga Samiti. Seven artists have made it ready after hard work for the last one month.

Everyone passing around this place is getting attracted to see the Gateway of India and is being pulled here to take selfies. With the help of bamboo, it has been made exactly like Mumbai’s Gateway of India. Artisan Ramu told News18 Local that when we got this job initially, it was a big challenge for us. Cutting the bamboo in this way and making it sit in the right place was a difficult task in itself. We didn’t even have much time, but now it feels good that it is ready in time.

Worship will be held from October 1 to October 5
At the same time, the President of Sri Sri Kali Puja Durga Samiti told that special idols will be placed in the pandal of Gateway of India. These sculptures have been prepared by the sculptors of West Bengal in a single trick. The idols of Goddess Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya will be installed on 30 September. Worship will be done here from October 1 to October 5.

The color of devotion will be frozen with the new theme
This time a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees in Ghaziabad. Durga Puja is being organized at more than 30 places in Trans Hindon, adjacent to Delhi. Puja pandals are being decorated everywhere with a Bengali touch as well as a new theme. Artists from other states including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra will perform various cultural performances in the five-day puja, which will be held in the framework of Gateway of India. In this, the message of unity in diversity and Akhand Bharat will also be given among the audience and devotees.
