Earthquake shook North India, epicentre was in Pakistan; major impact in many states

Earthquake tremors were felt in large parts of North India including Delhi-NCR today. Apart from India, earthquakes have been reported in a part of Pakistan and Afghanistan as well. According to the report of Pakistan’s newspaper The Tribune, tremors were felt from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 5.7 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of this earthquake is believed to be near Dera Ghazi Khan. This earthquake was 10 kilometers below the earth, due to which its intensity was seen to be less above.

At present, there is no news of any loss of life or property from anywhere including India, Pakistan or Afghanistan. The tremors of this earthquake were felt in many states including Delhi, West UP, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. According to the National Center for Seismology, the time of the earthquake was recorded as 12:58 minutes. According to the Center for Seismology, if the intensity of the earthquake is less than 6, then there is not much danger. But the epicenter of this earthquake was not very deep below the ground, so it could have been dangerous. Still, there is no news of loss of life or property from anywhere so far.
