The Enforcement Directorate has registered a case under PMLA in the case of drugs worth Rs 7600 crore seized in Delhi. ED has raided many locations in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai in this case. The ED team is currently visiting the Vasant Vihar house of accused and former chairman of RTI Cell Congress, Tushar Goyal, his and his wife’s Rajouri Garden house, accused Himanshu’s house in Prem Nagar, Bharat Kumar’s house in Nalasopara in Mumbai, besides They are raiding the offices of Tushar Book Publications in Jhandewalan, Delhi and ABN Buildtech Private Limited in Gurugram. Let us tell you that only yesterday the Special Cell of Delhi Police had recovered drugs worth Rs 2 thousand crores in Ramesh Nagar area.
7 people arrested so far in drugs case
Earlier on October 1, the Special Cell had raided Mahipalpur and recovered drugs worth Rs 5600 crore. So far, the Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested 7 accused in this case and recovered drugs worth Rs 7600 crore from their hideouts. In this series, Delhi Police has also issued a lookout circular against 6 accused of British origin. Let us tell you that UK national Savandar Singh had come from UK to India last month for transportation of cocaine consignment. These drugs were mostly transported from South America. According to sources, Savinder Singh stayed at three different places in Delhi for about 25 days and when the raid took place in Mahipalpur, during the arrest of 4 people, Savinder Singh left India for UK.
Lookout circular issued against 6 people
Lookout notice has been issued against half a dozen foreign nationals, including Savinder Singh, who were involved in this drugs racket. Earlier, a lookout circular was issued against Virendra Basoya, who is present abroad and had sent two people to India to supply cocaine. Virendra Basoya, living abroad, runs a drug syndicate with Tushar Goyal of Delhi and Jitendra Gill alias Jassi of UK and UK national Savinder Singh. Gill and Tushar Goyal have been arrested in this case and search is on for Virendra Basoya and Savinder. Let us tell you that both are currently present abroad. Apart from this, the owner and property dealer of the warehouse in Ramesh Nagar where Savinder Singh had kept 204 kg of drugs is being interrogated.
