Daughter-in-law beats father-in-law
A very serious case has come to light from Mangaluru, Karnataka. Here a woman tortured her father-in-law. These pictures of torture were captured in the CCTV camera installed in the house. In the pictures, it can be seen how a woman is beating her father-in-law with a walking stick and then pushes him. After this video went viral, Mangaluru Police has arrested this woman named Umashankari, who works in Karnataka Electricity Board.
Police station received information
Giving information about the incident, Mangaluru’s Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Dinesh said that on Monday during the day, Kankanady Police Station received information that a woman named Umashankari was beating her father-in-law Padmanabha Suvarna (87) with a stick in Kulashekhar locality, after which an incident took place on the spot. The police arrived and arrested him.
Elder’s daughter filed complaint
He said that on the complaint of Suvarna’s daughter Priya, the police registered a case under sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon or other means) and 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the accused woman. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police said that the woman was produced in the court from where she was sent to jail and investigation in the case is going on.
