Election Commission uploaded electoral bond data on website – India TV Hindi

The Election Commission has uploaded the data of electoral bonds on its website. The Election Commission has uploaded two data on its website. The first page contains data of parties from 12 April 2019 to 24 January 2024. The first data is of 426 pages. It tells how much donation each party has received. The second data is of 337 pages. It contains data from April 12, 2019 to January 11, 2024. These contain information about purchasing bonds from SBI on behalf of companies and other people.

These major companies donated

Those donating to political parties through electoral bonds include Grasim Industries, Megha Engineering, Piramal Enterprises. Those who bought electoral bonds include Apollo Tyres, Lakshmi Mittal, Edelweiss, PVR, Keventer, Sula Wine, Welspun, Sun Pharma Torrent Power, Bharti Airtel, DLF Commercial Developers, Vedanta Ltd.

These parties received donations

According to the data released by the Election Commission, many other parties including BJP, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, TMC, National Conference, BJD, Goa Forward Party, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party have also received election donations. According to the data, the parties that have encashed electoral bonds include BJP, Congress, AIADMK, BRS, Shiv Sena, TDP, YSR Congress, DMK, JDS, NCP, Trinamool Congress, JDU, RJD, Aam Aadmi Party and Samajwadi Party.

The data can be viewed by visiting the official website of the Election Commission https://www.eci.gov.in/candidate-politicparty. State Bank of India on Wednesday submitted a compliance affidavit in the Supreme Court, confirming that it has provided comprehensive details regarding the electoral bond scheme to the Election Commission of India. SBI had provided other information including date of purchase, names of purchasers and denomination of electoral electoral bonds.
