Jodhpur: A 46-year-old tribal man was lynched to death for taking water from a tubewell in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The police gave this information on Monday. The deceased’s brother Ashok alleged that the accused abused 46-year-old Kishanlal Bhil, a resident of the valley of Bhomyaji in Sursagar, and did not allow the family members to take Kishanlal to the hospital. He said that only after the arrival of the police, the family members could take the seriously injured Kishanlal to the hospital, where he died.
Police said that so far three accused Shakeel, Nasir and Bablu have been detained in this case and they have been booked under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code. .

Gautam Dotasara, in-charge of Sursagar police station said that other accused involved in the incident are being searched. Demanding immediate arrest of all the accused as well as compensation and government jobs for dependent kin, Kishanlal’s family and community members protested and refused to perform his last rites.
