England made the highest score against Australia, Liam played a stormy innings; equaled 20 years old record

In the fourth ODI against Australia on Friday, England scored 312 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 39 overs, thanks to the explosive innings of Ben Duckett, Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone. Due to rain the match was reduced to 39-39 overs. England has also made its highest score (312) in ODI against Australia at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Liam scored a total of 28 runs in the last over of the innings.

Liam Livingstone batted explosively in the last overs, due to which the England team managed to cross 300. Liam Livingstone played a explosive inning of 62 runs in 27 balls. He hit 7 sixes and three fours in his innings. With this, he has equaled Andrew Flintoff who has hit the most sixes in an innings of an ODI match at Lord’s. Andrew Flintoff hit 7 sixes against West Indies in 2004.

For England, Liam Livingstone scored seven, Jamie Smith scored two, Duckett, Harry and Bethel scored one six each. A total of 12 sixes were hit in England’s innings, which is the highest number of sixes hit by a team at Lord’s. Before this, Phil Salt and Duckett gave a good start to England. There was a partnership of 48 runs between the two for the first wicket. Salt was out after scoring 22 runs. Will Jacques scored 10 and Duckett scored 63 runs in 62 balls. Captain Harry Brook played a strong inning of 87 runs in 58 balls. Jamie Smith contributed 39 runs.
