Exclusive: Fugitive Amritpal Singh seeks UK citizenship to escape Indian law

New Delhi. Fugitive Khalistani separatist Amritpal Singh seeks citizenship of the United Kingdom. Top intelligence sources gave this information to CNN-News18. He said that the leader of ‘Waris Punjab De’ had applied for British citizenship in February.

Amritpal Singh sought UK citizenship on the ground that his wife Kiran Kaur is a UK citizen. According to sources, Amritpal’s application is pending with the British authorities and they are yet to take a decision on the matter.
