Exercise to strengthen theater command! 40 army officers will be posted in air force and navy

New Delhi. In a major step towards bringing integration in the Indian Army and creation of theater commands, a large batch of around 40 military officers will soon be posted at Indian Air Force (IAF) and Navy establishments, where they will perform similar duties. Will play roles, as they do in the Indian Army.

Top officials told The Indian Express that these army officers, who are part of cross-staffing postings, hold the rank of Major and Lieutenant Colonel at the executive level. An equal number of officers from the Indian Air Force and Navy are likely to be posted to military establishments to perform similar tasks to the responsibilities they perform while in office.
