Bahadurgarh. There has been a big victory for the farmers who have been on strike for 82 days in Bahadurgarh of Hariyama. The compensation for the land acquired for the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor to be built along with the KMP Expressway will be about 2 times. The government and the farmers have agreed on this. On Sunday, Jhajjar District Deputy Commissioner Shakti Singh reached the dharna going on near Mandauthi toll located on KMP Expressway and informed the farmers about the increase in their compensation.
In fact, the farmers were saying from the very beginning that the compensation for their lands has been calculated wrongly, that is why they started the protest demonstration. Farmers have won big under the leadership of farmer leader Ramesh Dalal. The compensation for the acquired land of the farmers has increased. The government has expressed its consent to increase the compensation. Farmer leader Ramesh Dalal says that the government has paid attention to their demands. He has expressed his gratitude to the local administrative officials and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Also demanded to pay attention to other demands of the farmers. Along with increasing the compensation, the farmers are demanding that SYL water should be made available to Haryana and 108 Hindi-speaking villages of Punjab should be included in Haryana. Not only this, the farmers have put 17 demands before the government, including setting up a separate High Court for Haryana, some of which have been agreed upon by the government.

With the increase in compensation, the way has been cleared for Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor, a very ambitious project of the state to be built along with KMP Expressway.
For this rail corridor, the government had acquired the lands of the farmers of Sonepat, Jhajjar, Gurgaon and Palwal districts. If we talk about Jhajjar district, about 146 hectares of land has been acquired for the farmers of 17 villages, for which a compensation of Rs 340 crore was announced, which has now almost doubled. Farmers are calling it their victory.
