An interview of former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh created a stir in the cricket world. All-rounder Yuvraj Singh’s father verbally attacked everyone from Kapil Dev to MS Dhoni and clearly said that his son’s career ended because of MS Dhoni. Yuvi could have played for 4-5 more years. He also targeted Kapil Dev and said that I will make you such that the world will spit on you. When this interview of Yograj Singh went viral, everyone started saying that he is mentally unstable. Meanwhile, an old interview of his son Yuvraj Singh also went viral, in which he admitted that his father has a mental problem, which he would have accepted.
Actually, Yuvraj Singh had admitted in the TRS podcast about 9 months ago that his father has a mental problem, but he does not accept it. Yuvraj Singh had said, “I think my father has a mental problem and he does not want to accept it, but I think there is something that he needs to pay attention to, he does not accept it, like I accept that I need therapy, but he does not accept it. It is like this, which you cannot change.”
In an interview given to Switch, Yograj Singh had said about Dhoni, “I will never forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a great cricketer, but whatever he did against my son, it is all coming out now. He can never be forgiven in life. That man (Dhoni) has ruined my son’s life. Yuvraj could have played cricket for four-five more years.”
The former cricketer had said about Kapil Dev, “In life, I want to show people that Yograj has done something, the person whom you have brought down, today the whole world is at his feet. People salute him and those people who had done very bad things…someone has cancer, someone’s house got destroyed, someone died and someone does not even have a son in his house. You know who I am talking about…what that man did, he is your greatest captain of all time Mr. Kapil Dev…I had told him that I will leave him in such a condition that the world will spit on you. Today Yuvraj Singh has 13 trophies and you have only one World Cup.”
