First punishment in a case registered under Indian Judicial Code in the country, two get life imprisonment for triple murder

For the first time, the court has punished the accused under the new law made by the Central Government, the Indian Judicial Code (BNS). For the first time after the implementation of the new law, Chhapra Court in Saran district of Bihar on Thursday sentenced two accused to life imprisonment for the crime of murder. Along with the life imprisonment, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 each on the accused. The court has also said in its order that if the fine is not paid, this sentence will increase for six months. Let us tell you that within 50 days, two accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment for the crime of murder.

In this regard, Saran district of Bihar has become the first district in the country to get punishment under the new law. In this triple murder case, the police had filed the chargesheet within 14 days. In this case, a case was registered in Rasulpur police station under sections 103 (1), 109 (1), 329- 4/3 (5).

The police filed the chargesheet within 14 days. The court held the accused Sudhanshu Kumar alias Roshan and Ankit Kumar of Dhanadih guilty under the new law on speedy trial within 50 days and then pronounced the sentence.

what was the whole matter

Let us tell you that on 17th July, late night, in Dhanadih village of Rasulpur police station area of ​​the district, a crazy young man Roshan Kumar alias Sudhanshu Kumar stabbed two minor girls and their father to death due to one sided love. The girl’s mother was also stabbed and left bleeding. An FIR was registered on the statement of the girl’s mother Shobha Devi.

In this triple murder case, the police arrested a crazy young man named Roshan and his friend Ankit Kumar on 17th July. The deceased included minor Chandni Kumari (17 years), her father Tarakeshwar Singh (55 years) and younger sister Abha Kumari (15 years). Tarakeshwar’s injured wife Shobha Devi was treated at Sadar Hospital.

During the treatment, the girl’s mother told that the accused Roshan was in one-sided love with Chandni. He was upset because he had not talked to Chandni for a long time. They were sleeping on the roof at night when Roshan climbed the roof from the back of the house with one of his friends.

When their daughter suddenly woke up, she interrupted Roshan and asked him what was his status to come to her house. After this, Roshan and his friends started stabbing them with knives. Chandni, her father and her younger sister died on the spot. The police also recovered the knife used in the murder.

Testimony began every day on the instructions of the District Judge

To ensure that the accused of the heinous murder are punished as soon as possible, the process of daily testimony was also started on the instructions of District Judge Puneet Kumar Garg. First, villager Santosh Singh testified on 13 August. Three other people from the village, Mantu Singh, Umesh Sharma and Manoj Singh also testified.

After the villagers completed their testimony, 12 other people, including Forensic Science Laboratory expert Ratna, Ekma doctor Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singh, Chhapra Sadar Hospital doctor Dr. Dhananjay Kumar, watchman Rohit Kumar, informant Shobha Devi, police station chief Prabhat Kumar, assistant sub-inspector Sakaldev Paswan and murder case IO Ravindra Kumar, testified.

Speedy trial was conducted against the accused

SP Kumar Ashish had conducted a speedy trial after District Magistrate Aman Sameer’s approval regarding the sensational incident of the district. The District Judge also intermittently directed the police administration at his level to complete the trial of the murder case soon. On the basis of facts available at the police level, the District Judge held the accused guilty.
