Champai and thousands of supporters were given party membership in a gathering organized by the state BJP at Shakha Maidan in Dhurva, Ranchi. During this, many big leaders of BJP were present, including Himanta Biswa Sarma and Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
Champai Soren resigned from the JMM membership on August 28. Giving information about this on his social media platform X, he said, today I resigned from the primary membership and all the posts of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Our struggle will continue on the issues of tribals, natives, Dalits, backward and common people of Jharkhand.
