This is Pant’s 6th century in test cricket and with this he has become the joint first batsman to score the most centuries in this format for India. Gill scored a century in the second innings

Along with Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill also scored a century in the second innings. He remained unbeaten till the end, batting at number three, he has shown a great game so far. Gill scored 119 runs in the second innings. Gill played a partnership with Pant when India lost 3 wickets at the score of 67.

Bangladesh trapped in the spin of Ashwin Jadeja

Bangladesh has never chased a target of more than 400 runs in Test cricket, so the target of 515 runs given by India was very big for them. In front of this huge score, Bangladesh’s team collapsed like a pack of cards at 234 runs. The Ashwin-Jadeja pair played an important role in restricting Bangladesh’s innings to such a low score.
