General elections in Nepal on November 20, movement on Indo-Nepal border completely closed for 72 hours, know details

Motihari. There is a general election in Nepal on 20 November. The Indo-Nepal border will remain sealed for 72 hours from November 18 regarding the elections. India’s role has become important in making Nepal’s election peaceful and clean. In the elections, there will be a complete ban on the movement of criminals and those influencing the elections from the open border of India-Nepal. To make the ban effective, a meeting of the India Nepal Coordination Committee was held in Motihari. The meeting was attended by officials from the border district East Champaran, West Champaran as well as officials from the districts of Persa and Navalparasi of Nepal.

In the meeting, the officials on both sides discussed various issues and decided to implement it effectively. According to the orders of the Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the meeting was jointly chaired by the DM of East Champaran, Shishit Kapil Ashok and the DM of Nawalparasi district of Nepal. In this meeting, it was unanimously decided to keep the border seal for 72 hours from November 18 regarding elections in Nepal.

Apart from this, it was decided to increase surveillance on the border to ban chemical drugs control, criminal activities, smuggling and illegal material. Along with this, there was also a special discussion about banning human trade. In the meeting, the DM of East Champaran, Kapil Ashok, discussed to control the cross border to make prohibition a complete success. The officials stressed on the exchange of information in the meeting.

Let us tell you that the voting for the general elections to be held in Nepal is to be held on 20 November. In view of this, it has been decided to seal the border for 72 hours from November 18 to November 20. In the meeting, East Champaran DM and other officials honored the officers who came from different districts of Nepal. In this meeting, officers of East Champaran, West Champaran, Bagaha District Police and SSB of the Indian Zone were present; While many district officials including Parsa and Naval Parasi were present from Nepal side.
