According to CAT, during Diwali festival alone, an estimated more than 5 crore items of different types are procured to gift each other and CAT will make the most of Diwali festival to promote this campaign. It is to be noted that this campaign will be run across the country till 15th August, 2023 under the Union Ministry of Culture, for which the Ministry of Culture is engaged in an outreach program with national organizations of trade and industry and organizations from other sectors of the economy.

CAIT National President BC Bhartia and National General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal said that in a meeting of CAIT held in Delhi on September 8, 2022, more than 80 prominent leaders of 24 states of the country unanimously agreed with the government to promote this campaign. These products may include pen stands, pens, card holders, mobile covers, tie-pins, hand-cliffs, mobile chargers, tea and coffee mugs, paintings, flower pots, flower vases and so on.

CAT will run this campaign exclusively among Transporters, Consumers, Small Industries, Self-Entrepreneurs, Women Entrepreneurs, State Level Chambers, District Level and City Level Associations across the country to inspire people across different cultures, regions and income groups . Bhartia and Khandelwal said that since Diwali is the biggest festival of the country, CAIT would urge the business community across the country to gift them at least one memento of the Amrit festival of Azadi along with Diwali gift in the transaction of Diwali gift.
