Gold worth Rs 4.5 crore recovered from passengers in train
New Delhi: Railway Police RPF is also active to stop money power in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana Assembly. During investigation for Assembly Elections-2024, RPF Ambala Cantt has seized 4.900 kg gold worth 4.5 crores. In this regard, a case has been registered under Section 146 RA at Ambala Cantt RPF post.
4.9 kg gold recovered from four passengers
According to the information, RPF Ambala Cantt Javed Khan was investigating in connection with the assembly elections with his team. During the investigation in train number 13006, 4.900 kg of gold was recovered from four passengers. Information about this has also been given to the income tax officials. The value of the seized gold is Rs 4.5 crore. Which is one of the biggest seizures by RPF Northern Railway.
