New Delhi: Israel has approached India to provide jobs in the infrastructure and health sector. Israel needs 10 thousand construction workers and five thousand caregivers. According to the information, Israel has contacted India to conduct a re-recruitment drive for 10,000 construction workers and 5000 caregivers. A team associated with Israeli companies will visit India in the coming week.
10th pass people can also apply
The second round of the recruitment drive for construction workers is scheduled to take place in Maharashtra. Israel also needs 5000 caregivers to boost its healthcare services. Candidates who have completed at least class 10th along with a certificate issued by a recognized Indian institute and have completed a care course with at least 990 hours of on-the-job training can apply.
Salary: Rs 1.92 lakh per month along with free food and accommodation
Israel has said that the selected people will get a salary of Rs 1.92 lakh per month along with medical insurance, food and accommodation. These candidates will also be provided a bonus of Rs 16,515 per month. In the first round of recruitment of construction workers for Israel, a total of 16832 candidates appeared for the skill test, out of which 10349 candidates were selected. After the Government-to-Government (G2G) agreement was signed in November 2023, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) went to all the states to recruit.
Training will have to be taken before going to Israel
All candidates are required to undergo training before moving to Israel from India. This includes a manual to understand the Israeli culture and lifestyle and to get accustomed to their new home. The first round of the recruitment drive was conducted in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Telangana. The agreement was signed after India and Israel launched a framework agreement on temporary employment of Indians in May 2023.
