Gorakhpur: Body of grocery worker found hanging on iron gate, fear of murder

Gorakhpur, Sensation spread in the area after the dead body of a young man was found hanging from an iron gate on a gravel platform in front of a liquor contract located on Govardhan Barsana Marg in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Passengers informed the police about the incident. The police, who reached the spot, removed the dead body from the trap and sent it to the post mortem after filling the panchnama. The dead body of the teenager has been identified as Dharmendra resident of Neemgaon.

Dharmendra (20) son Chandan Singh, resident of Neemgaon, used to work at a grocery shop in Govardhan. When he did not return home after his job on Friday night, the family members became worried, the family members kept inquiring till late night in search of the boy. On Saturday morning, his body was found hanging from a rope at the gate of the gravel stall in front of the liquor shop located on Barsana Marg. On the information of the passers-by, the police seized the dead body and sent it to the post mortem. On the other hand, there was uproar among the family members. The relatives and villagers have expressed the possibility of killing the teenager and hanging the body.

Police Station President Nitin Kasana told that the body of the teenager was found hanging near Loh Ke Gate PR. The body was seized and sent for post mortem. The cause of death will be known from the post mortem report.
