A speeding car rammed into a trailer truck from behind, killing seven people and injuring one seriously. A police officer from Himmatnagar said that the car was carrying many people from Shamlaji to Ahmedabad, when it collided with a trailer going ahead. The car was completely destroyed in the accident. Regarding the incident, Police Superintendent Vijay Patel said that seven people travelling in the car have died in the accident.
Police and fire service officials are present at the spot. The police officer said, ‘This accident happened in Gujarat’s Sabarkantha district this morning. In which seven people travelling in the Innova car have died. One car passenger is seriously injured and has been taken to the hospital for treatment. All were residents of Ahmedabad. The car was going towards Ahmedabad normally.’ The magnitude of the accident can be estimated by looking at the badly damaged car after the collision. The doors and the front part of the car were completely separated in the accident.
