Haryana Directorate of Education sought this information from private schools, parents were upset

Chandigarh. All the parents of the state are upset due to an action taken by the Directorate of Education, Haryana. The parents have made allegations of nexus after this step of the government. The Directorate of Education, Haryana has sent a letter to all private schools asking for details on Form-6 regarding fees to be charged in the upcoming academic session, facilities to be given to students, salary to be given to teachers, etc. At the same time, the last date for sending correct information in all the columns of Form 6 has been kept on February 15. On this, the teachers say that more than half the admissions have been done till the month of January and the fees have been collected while the government is now asking the schools that how much fees will they charge?

Haryana Parent Ekta Manch alleges that all private schools have made new admissions for primary classes, nursery, KG, LKG and other classes for the upcoming education session starting from 1 April 2023 and are asking parents for the upcoming education session. I have collected the increased tuition, admission fees etc. in advance four months in advance. In such a situation, asking the details of proposed fees and funds on Form 6 by the Director of Education is throwing dust in the eyes of the students and parents.

State President of the forum, Advocate OP Sharma, State General Secretary Kailash Sharma have said that after checking the details of the proposed fees and funds given on Form-6 and all other information, only after getting the approval from the Director of Education, the school director will take the next step. Fees can be increased in the education session, but school managers are violating this rule for the last several education sessions. Patron Subhash Lamba alleged that Form 6 is a legal license given by the government to school operators to increase fees. Write anything on Form 6 by the school, that is correct. There is no investigation, no audit of the schools, no scrutiny of the accounts of the schools.
