Heavy rains in Delhi-NCR, strong winds, yellow alert; How will the next 6 days be?

Delhi Weather Forecast: Heavy rains with strong winds were witnessed in various areas of Delhi NCR on Tuesday evening. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of light to moderate rains with strong winds and thunderstorms in various cities of Delhi as well as NCR during the next 24 hours. If the Meteorological Department is to be believed, the weather will remain bad in Delhi NCR on Wednesday as well. IMD has issued a yellow alert of heavy rains in Delhi NCR on Wednesday as well.

Delhi is expected to remain cloudy and witness light to moderate rain during the next two days. Due to this, the maximum temperature is expected to drop by two degrees. Meanwhile, the temperature on Tuesday morning at Delhi’s Safdarjung weather station was recorded one degree below normal.

The sun shone brightly in most parts of Delhi since Tuesday morning. However, light clouds kept moving in between. After 5 pm, many areas of Delhi were covered with thick clouds. Meanwhile, there was light drizzle at some places. After which the weather became pleasant.

The maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius at Delhi’s Safdarjung weather station. Which is one degree more than normal. Whereas, the minimum temperature was 24.4 degrees Celsius which is one degree less than normal. The humidity level here ranged from 78 to 67 percent.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Delhi during the next two days. Especially on Wednesday, there may be good rain in some places in Delhi. During this time the wind speed can also be 25 to 35 kilometers per hour. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert. Due to this, the maximum temperature is likely to fall by up to two degrees. Whereas, there may be light rain at some places on Thursday as well.
